What’s with all the Tie-Dye?
Great things have small beginnings, and our eye-catching uniforms are no different. You might have noticed the tie dye t-shirts on our website while researching career opportunities and culture. That isn’t just about marketing. We actually wear tie-dye t-shirts as part of our corporate uniform.
It started in the late 90s when our team was just 10–15 people. Back then, we wore plain white t-shirts with the company name on them. One day, our very own Dan Dworzanski got his white shirt dirty on the job. Rather than replace it, he got creative with some at-home dye and showed up on the job with the very first Optimax tie dye t-shirt. People started asking him to give their uniforms the same treatment, until Dan was overwhelmed by hundreds of orders.
We took that as a sign and launched the Optimax tie dye tradition. Today, the tie dye t-shirt is our corporate uniform. But it is also emblematic of our unique culture and fun-loving spirit.
